Five soldiers from Fort Carson are recovering after being involved in a vehicle rollover accident. They were riding in a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle at the time of the accident.

A woman died after being involved in an accident that was caused when she drove in front of a pickup truck and was subsequently hit by the truck. She was taken to the hospital but later died. Two passengers in her vehicle were also taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Charges are pending against a man who fatally injured a driver after he rear-ended him. The man had properly stopped and was yielding traffic when the potential defendant plowed into the back of his vehicle.

A woman became the victim of a hit and run when a sedan crossed all the lanes of traffic and hit a parked car that she was in the process of entering.

A man was riding an ATV during a hunting trip when another hunter accidentally shot him in his arm. Doctors do not believe that his injury is life-threatening.

A truck that was hauling asphalt was involved in an accident after it rolled over near McCaslin Boulevard on west-bound U.S. 36.

Nestle USA has recalled Nesquick chocolate powder mix due to a potential risk that the powder became contaminated with salmonella. No illnesses have been reported yet.
